FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: set of invention relates to percussion drilling of rocks. Claimed drill bit comprises the head to be secured to drilling string drill element end and features the diameter larger than that of said drill element. Note hear that the drill bit head front end incorporates multiple plug-in dowels distributed over the drill bit head to contact with the material to be crushed. At least one of said plug-in dowels can revolve by the dowel symmetry axis. Note here that the base section of said plug-in dowel rests directly on the bottom of bore at said front end to transfer percussion force to said plug-in dowel to make said base section displace at revolution.
EFFECT: uniform wear and self sharpening of the drill bit plug-in dowel.
