SUBSTANCE: feed additive for poultry husbandry comprises a complex of biologically active substances and consists of the biomass and/or the culture fluid obtained by culturing the fungus Medusomyces Gisevii Lindau mixed with probiotic "Bifidobacterin" taken at a concentration of 10⁶-10⁸ CFU/ml (g) in the chitin-containing nutrient medium containing a source of chitin as powder of dead bees. The method of poultry breeding comprises adding to the diet of young birds of the said feed additive in feed or drinking water, starting from one day-old in two courses of 7-10-days.

EFFECT: increase in physiological and immune status of poultry body, eliminates the deficit of amino acids, vitamins and trace elements in the diet of birds, provides enhancement of digestibility of feeds, stimulation of weight gain and increase in productivity of poultry.
