SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture and namely to the way of feeding poultry. The method is characterized in that an additive based on microorganisms of the genus Bacillus and an additive from a mixture of citric and lactic acids, salts of formic acid: calcium formate and sodium formate are introduced into the feed, and the components are taken in a certain ratio. For the preparation of the supplement, two strains of bacteria of the genus Bacillus are used: the bacterial strain Bacillus mucilaginosus B-4901 and the bacterial strain Bacillus subtilis 1-85, consisting of viable spores of spore-forming bacteria with a total number of bacteria of at least 1*106 CFU/g. In this case, citric and lactic acids, calcium formate and sodium formate, as well as the dried biomass of these strains are taken at the rate of 1.0 kg/ ton of feed.

EFFECT: use of the invention will improve feed quality.
