FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the area of electrical engineering. The device comprises a valve placed in the body and complete with a gate connected to the valve rod, magnet target connected to the valve rod and containing cylindrical tubular body (24) with open end wherein a channel is drilled out partially. Fixed magnet (28) is mounted in the channel opposite open end while movable magnet (30) is placed in the channel between fixed the magnet and open end. In the channel there is adjusting element (26), which contact surface is engaged with movable magnet (30). The magnets are intended for actuation of proximity switch with a sensor reacting to magnetic field. At that the proximity switch is hard-mounted outside the body. When adjusting element (26) is shifted axially, contact surface leads to respective shift of movable magnet (30) in regard to fixed magnet (28), and finally leading to propagation of magnetic field for each magnet in radial direction along longitudinal axis of each magnet. Fixed and movable magnets may be axially-magnetized samarium-cobalt magnets or axially-magnetized neodymium magnets.

EFFECT: expansion of technical equipment inventory for development of magnets featuring intensity and uniformity in longitudinal direction of magnetic field.
