FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: in method for obtaining biocidal composition realised is mixing of solvent, water-soluble polyelectrolyte (PE) and salt, with water being used as solvent, and as PE - mixture of cationic PE solution and water anionic PE solution, taken in ratio, at which content of charged units of anionic PE constitutes from 3 to 30 % of content of charged units of cationic PE with the total initial PE concentration from 0.1 to 20 wt %, and as salt used is at least one water-soluble salt, selected from the group, including alkali metal or ammonium salt, or mixture of such salt with calcium or magnesium salt with salt concentration from 0.01 to 6.0 wt %, with salt or salt water solution being mixed with water solution of at least one of PE.
EFFECT: increase of biocidal activity of composition.
