SUBSTANCE: present invention refers to an agent for skin protection, containing: a) at least one surfactant; b) at least one substance specified in a group consisting of polyol and a polyol derivative; c) at least one substance specified in a group consisting of a cosmetic excipient, a cosmetic additive, a cosmetic active substance, a pharmaceutical excipient, a pharmaceutical additive and a pharmaceutical active substance; d) at least one barrier-forming component; e) water and f) a synthetic and/or natural hardener; the barrier-forming component is such that a nephelometric turbidity factor of an aqueous solution of the barrier-forming component in the concentration of 1 wt % determined by turbidimetry procedure makes more than 40 nephelometer turbidity units (NTUs). The invention provides creating the agent for skin protection, particularly against both hydrophobic, and hydrophilic hazardous substances; the agent is effective in those situations wherein hydrophobic and hydrophilic hazardous substances are changed frequently; it exhibits cleansing action, at least comparable to that of known agent for skin protection, and ensures a pleasant sensation in the users when touching their own skin.

EFFECT: agent formulation provides the better barrier properties of the skin, particularly the injured skin, and promotes skin regeneration.
