FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to catalytic methods for obtaining copolymers of ethylene and α-olefins. Claimed is method for obtaining copolymer of ethylene and α-olefin with application of catalytic composition, including titanium compound, which is derivative of cyclopentadienyl of formula I,
where M stands for titanium; R1 and R2 independently represent (C1-C7)alkyl group; D stands for -N(R5)-, where R5 stands for (C1-C20)alkyl group; R3 and R4 independently stand for (C1-C20)alkyl group; X independently stands for halogen atom or (C1-C20)alkyl group; and n equals 2.
EFFECT: claimed method makes it possible to obtain highly molecular copolymer, which has weight average molecular weight 80000~500000 and distribution of molecular weight (Mw/Mn) 1,5~4,1 with ethylene content 50 wt % or more on industrial scale, with copolymer density constituting 0,860~0,940 g/cm3.
