The invention also relates to a catalyst composition containing a transition metal for producing an ethylene homopolymer or an ethylene-α-olefin copolymer, a method for producing an ethylene homopolymer or an ethylene-α-olefin copolymer, as well as a method for producing an ethylene homopolymer or an ethylene-α-olefin copolymer, including: the introduction of a catalyst activator composition containing a tetraarylborate compound.
EFFECT: providing an increase in solubility in a solvent based on an aliphatic hydrocarbon and an effective improvement in the activity of a catalyst with a single active site, and also the claimed invention makes it easy to obtain an ethylene-based copolymer with a high molecular weight, having a high degree of ethylene conversion, low density and low MI value corresponding to high molecular weight even under high temperature conditions.
