SUBSTANCE: invention is a method of selection of winter-hardy plants of winter wheat under climatic conditions of the Primorsky Territory, including sowing, growing, taking samples, their assessment on selection and economic characteristics, where the sampling is carried out in the phase of wax ripeness of seeds, and the medium-grown plants of 81-110 cm with reddish colour of stems are selected as winter-hardy, and assessment of characteristics is performed by the content of flavonoids, and the plants with the content of flavonoids of more than 8 mg/g are selected as winter-hardy, and can be used in work on selection of winter wheat and intended to create winter-hardy varieties of this culture.
EFFECT: invention enables to improve the efficiency of selection of winter wheat for winter-hardiness, to accelerate and simplify the process of obtaining the selection material at the early stages of selection works.
