The invention includes ship navigation by planned courses, the start and the end of each course is shorted to hydrographic control point, or two hydrographic control points: the start of each course - on one point, and the end of each course - on another point, additionally measured on a moving ship at the points along the survey course, in conjunction with the measurement of gravity acceleration gizmi water depth Zizmi and determine the geodetic rectangular coordinates xi and yi and the true value of gravity acceleration gicti. Furthermore, an apparatus for implementing the method of the water area gravimetric survey contains a sensing system, a control unit and a recorder, it is provided with depth gauge, navigation system and a calculator, wherein the input of the calculator through the control unit is connected to the outputs of the sensing system, the measured depth of the water area, navigation system, and the output is connected to the input of the recorder.

EFFECT: technical result is improved accuracy of the water area gravimetric survey.
