FIELD: engines and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in flow-through exhaust systems of vehicles equipped with ICEs. Said noise killer comprises the case composed of ferromagnetic material to accommodate expansion chamber fitted in the cylinder. The latter is rigidly secured to vehicle body while noise killer is secured with the help of tension springs. Multi-turn coil is fitted on the cylinder with its output ends connected via rectifier and automotive voltage regulator to the vehicle storage battery. Inlet and outlet pipes are mounted at expansion chamber ends. Expansion chamber is divided by perforated tube into two parts its one end being connected with inlet pipe and opposite end plugged by thrust wall. Piston-valve of ferromagnetic material is arranged inside said tube with return spring arranged between the latter and thrust wall. Multi-turn extra coil is fitted on the cylinder with its output ends connected via second rectifier and second voltage regulator to the vehicle storage battery.

EFFECT: decreased noise killer oscillations amplitude, reduced acoustic noise owing to change in noise killer internal volume at ICE rpm sign-variable stabilization of acoustic noise, longer ICE service life.
