ONBOARD CHARGING DEVICE Russian patent published in 2016 - IPC B60L11/18 H02J7/10

Abstract RU 2575669 C2

FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: onboard charging device comprises a voltage converter, two in-series capacitors, a primary rectifier with an input filter and a high-frequency transformer. By its positive output terminal the primary rectifier is coupled to the first output of a choke and by its input terminals - to the power cord. The converter consists of three phase commutator switches, at that the second output of the converter is connected to the second terminal of the electrical machine via a normally closed contact of the contactor and to the first output of the high-frequency transformer primary winding via a normally open contact of the contactor. The second output of the transformer primary winding is connected to the common point of the capacitors. The output of the choke via a normally open contact is coupled to the converter third input, which is connected via a normally closed contact to the third terminal of the electrical machine.

EFFECT: increased charging current of a traction accumulator battery.
