FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: vehicle optical device includes a scatterer connected to a housing in which there is a light source which is mounted in a reflector having a reflecting surface. The reflecting surface of the reflector is formed from alternately arranged reflecting elements with a concave surface and reflecting elements with a convex surface, which smoothly transition into each other and form a wavy structure, which is formed by the alternately repeating concave surface of some reflecting elements and the convex surface of other reflecting elements. Unidirectional concave and convex semi-cylindrical lenses of the scatterer are smoothly interfaced with each other and are arranged with alternating concave and convex scattering lenses which form a wavy structure, which is formed by the alternately repeating concave surface of some scattering lenses and the convex surface of other scattering lenses.
EFFECT: easy manufacture of the optical system while maintaining the optimum uniform light distribution of the vehicle optical device.
