FIELD: automobile industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to lighting devices for head optics and can be used to illuminate the road surface in the headlights of cars, both as the main and additional lighting. The headlight module contains a radiator with a board connected to the housing, inside of which a secondary optical element, a screen, a focusing lens and at least one light source mounted on the board are located. Below the optical axis, the screen has a surface that limits the luminous flux, between which the upper and lower screen openings are formed. The lower opening of the screen from the side of the focusing lens is equipped with an additional optical element in the form of a lens, having the shape of a rectangular triangle, the larger leg of which closes the lower opening. The focusing lens is flat-convex, the upper part of which is convex, and the lower part is cut off by a limiting plane parallel to the optical axis and is made with a grooved surface.
EFFECT: increased optical efficiency and efficiency of surface illumination.
