SUBSTANCE: device for the cutting mill position setting contains a shuttle-type carriage, between which movable plates on the axis of rotation in the bearing supports a working shaft with the cutting mill is installed, it is connected with the motor by a belt drive. The axis of rotation of the carriage coincides with the motor axis, and the piston rod of the crank-and-rod mechanism installed on the bedplate by one end is connected by a hinge joint with an axle secured in one of the movable plates of the carriage, and another end is connected by a hinge joint with a screw pair.
EFFECT: invention increases the accuracy of the cutting mill position setting, and reduces expenses for the device manufacturing.
