FIELD: engines.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to propulsion engineering, specifically to means of fuel-air mix ignition in internal combustion engines (ICE). Invention consists in that in an internal combustion engine, comprising at least one cylinder with a piston, a cylinder head, a gasket between head and cylinder, said gasket is made from dielectric material, inner cavity of cylinder head is made in form of a truncated cone, and to cylinders and head of cylinders are connected outputs of high-voltage wires of a high-voltage generator. Fuel-air mixture feed system immediately before valve can be fitted with flow swirling means. Engine can include a pre-chamber with output holes and an ignition plug, which can be laser, wherein its focus is located at intersection of axes of outlet holes.
EFFECT: higher combustion efficiency, reduced emission of hazardous substances and reduced power consumption during ignition.
