FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automatic anti-ice technical devices and can be used against icing on large roads. According to method the state of road surface is determined on the monitored section of the road by means of sensor. Then a signal is generated at actuators distributing anti-ice agent on the road surface. Treatment is carried out in case of sediments with formation of snow-ice drift on the sensor. Device includes sensor monitoring the state at controlled road section and actuator, distributing anti-ice agent on the road surface. Actuator is made in the form nozzle (7) connected with compressed air source installed on rotary wheel arranged on a platform and connected with mechanism which rotates it in vertical plane. Rotating mechanism is composed of two worms with crossed mutually perpendicular axes and worm wheel (12) rigidly fitted on the axis of first worm (10) placed on said turntable and interacting with gear sector (9) rigidly connected with nozzle (7) and is mated with second worm (13) axis of which is aligned with the turntable turn vertical axis. Second worm (13) is made with through axial hole, in which pipe (16) is passed one end of which can contact with nozzle (7) and the other end is connected to anti-ice agent accumulator (18).
EFFECT: simplified design and improved operational characteristics.
