FIELD: military equipment.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to versions of armour and a method of producing armour. Armour consists of several layers of armour material. In first version, first layer, if seen from outside, is a metal armour, third-metal, cellular armour from composite materials, monolithic from composite materials or ceramic armour. Between layers there is a freely hanging strong fabric, pressed against outer layer of springs, rubber elements or pneumatic chambers. In second version of armour first layer, if seen from outside, is a metal armour, third-cellular or solid armour from composite materials, or ceramic armour. Between layers there is a mixture of corundum particles with binder.
EFFECT: method of producing armour consists in that corundum particles are subjected to metallisation, and then sintered at a press, higher strength of armour is achieved.
