FIELD: manufacturing technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wet dust separation and can be used in various industries for purification of gases. Packing for scrubber is made in the form of a cylindrical ring to whose side surface two opposite hemispherical surfaces are attached. Diametral planes of semi-spheres comply with top and bottom bases of cylindrical ring. Tops of the semi-spherical surfaces lie on the axis of the ring and are directed towards each other. Packing element is made with perforation on side surface, and semi-spherical surfaces. Between the peaks of semi-spherical surfaces of packing element there is a perforated surface of the n-th order, for example, spherical, elliptic, hyperbolic. Inside the semi-spherical surfaces at least two semi-spherical surfaces are are located concentrically and with the gap. It can has hollow ball-like shape, on the outer surface of which there are additional elements in the form of rotation body surfaces. Inner surface of the packing is connected to external by means of three channels.

EFFECT: higher process efficiency and reliability due to more extended surface of the packing.
