FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to release of methanol from mineralised water-methanol solutions and can be used in oil and gas industry. Method involves fractionation of heated mineralised water-methanol solution in the rectification column, in which water-methanol vapors with high content of methanol are supplied, vapors of water-methanol solution with low content of methanol as steam irrigation and methanol as live reflux. From the column above the point of mineralised water-methanol solution input demineralised water-methanol solution is removed and fractionated in a stripping column to obtain water-methanol vapours with high content of methanol, water-methanol vapors with low content of methanol and water-methanol solution, which is mixed with water, heated and returned to the bottom of the stripping column as “hot flow”. Water-salt solution which after cooling is removed from the plant is collected from the bottom of the rectification column. From the top of the rectification column vapors of methanol are removed, cooled and separated, the slip stream is removed from the plant, and condensed methanol is separated into flow of live reflux and commercial product.
EFFECT: simplifying the method.
