SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical monitoring. A device comprises a number of medical facility networks (MBAN) systems; each MBAN system comprises a number of network nodes communicating with each other inside the MBAN system by means of short-range wireless communication; a central network communicates with the MBAN systems by means of long-range communication, which is different from the short-range wireless communication; a central frequency agile sub-system is associated with the central network and configured to communicate with the MBAN systems by means of the long-range communication; the central frequency agile sub-system receives channel quality updates for a number of accessible channels for the short-range wireless communication and provides the MBAN systems with the accessible channels by the long-range communication on the basis of the received channel quality updates.
EFFECT: noise reduction in wireless communications systems.
