SUBSTANCE: invention relates to internal combustion engine cooling systems. Device for pre-launch heat preparation of engine comprises a heat accumulator connected to the cooling system, an additional drive for circulation of the coolant with a control unit. Additionally, coolant temperature sensors are installed inside the heat accumulator at the inlet and outlet of the engine and an ambient temperature sensor, which are connected to an electronic control unit, which allows, based on readings of the temperature sensors, to change the performance of the additional drive for coolant circulation.

EFFECT: invention provides for a more efficient use of the heat accumulator.
