SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a cosmetic emulsion of water-in-oil type, containing the following components (A)-(D): (A) from 0.5 to 10 wt % of a sterol derivative, (B) oil comprising (b1) and (b2): (b1) a volatile oil having low compatibility with (A), (b2) oil with a viscosity less than 1000 mPa·s, different from (b1), (C) emulsifier and (D) from 65 to 85 wt % of the aqueous component, where the percentage of the component (b1) relative to the component (A) and the component (B) is from 40 to 85%, where the content of component (b2) exceeds two or less times the content of the component (A) and where the component (A) is selected from di(phytosteryl/octyldodecyl)-lauroylglutamate, phytosteryl of fatty acids of macadamia nut oil, di(octyldodecyl/phytosteryl/behenyl)-lauroylglutamate, myristoylmethyl-β-alanine-(phytosteryl/decyltetradecyl), (phytosteryl/behenyl)-dimer dilinoleate, (phytosteryl/isostearyl/cetyl/stearyl/behenyl)-dimer dilinoleate, bis(behenyl/isostearyl/phytosteryl)-dimer dilinoleyl-dimer dilinoleate, di(isostearyl/phytosteryl)-dimer dilinoleate, di(cholesteryl/behenyl/octyldodecyl)-lauroylglutamate, di(cholesteryl/octyldodecyl)-lauroylglutamate and cholesteryl of fatty acids of macadamia nut oil.
