SUBSTANCE: invention refers to cosmetology and represents an oil-in-water cosmetic emulsion essentially consisting of the following components: (A) from 0.1 to 5 wt % of hydrogenated polyisobutene, with a number average molecular weight of 2,000 to 3,000, (B) 0.1 to 0.8 wt % of C₆-C₂₂ monoatomic alcohol, (C) from 1 to 25 wt % of oil component, (D) from 0.3 to 5 wt % of cosmetical surfactant, (E) from 0.05 to 5 wt % of cosmetical water-soluble thickener and (F) from 59 to 96 wt % of aqueous component, consisting of water, moisturizer, potassium hydroxide and/or sodium chloride, where the amount of non-polar oil is 30 % or less of total amount of component (C).

EFFECT: invention provides excellent feeling of elasticity and smoothness of skin, and also provides excellent sensation of softness and excellent moisturizing effect.
