FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method includes the electrochemical deposition of a coating from a chromic acid-based electrolyte, wherein the electrolyte used contains chromium trioxide CrO3 - 250 g/l, calcium sulphate CaSO4 - 20 g/l and dispersed graphite - 10-20 g/l, obtained from carbonaceous solid wastes from aluminium production in the form of coal froth floatation tailings.
EFFECT: high electroconductivity and corrosion resistance of the obtained coating due to the use of carbon particles obtained from aluminium production wastes with a particle size of less than 200 nm.
