FIELD: rocket science.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to rocket fuels. Disclosed are rocket fuels containing beryllium, aluminium, lithium, lithium-aluminium or silicon borohydride, tetraborane or decaborane in combinations with seven different oxidants: nitric acid, nitrogen pentoxide, ammonium nitrate, ammonium dinitramide, boron nitrate, beryllium nitrate, nitrogen hexoxide. For increasing amount of hydrogen released hydrazine is added. Invention is based on that oxygen reacts only with metal boron hydride, according to series, and boron enter in exothermic reacts with nitrogen and increases energy of reaction. Boron compounds such as boranes, borohydrides still give an even larger amount of hydrogen.
EFFECT: invention provides high rate of jet stream.
