FIELD: astronautics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the design of spacecraft (SC), mainly for research on close (order of the radius of the orbit of Mercury) distances from the sun. SC comprises a housing with a thermal shield, scientific and service equipment, temperature control means and two pairs of solar batteries (SB). Panels of one pair SB fastened detachably on the panels of the other pair Sa and with them have a common axis of rotation. Nondetachable SBs being part of the SC are two opposing working surfaces. One of them established only photovoltaics, and on the other - also interspersed with the latest heat-reflective elements. Selection of operating working surface of the panel and its installation angle determined by the density of incident solar streams.
EFFECT: technical result of the invention is to reduce the weight of the spacecraft, increasing reliability and simplifying algorithm orientation panels thanks to the efficient structure of the Security Council Sat.
