FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field for oral cavity care. Claimed composition of gel toothpaste contains: i) gel base, containing from approximately 7 to approximately 9% of low-abrasive silicon dioxide, wherein low-abrasive silicon dioxide represents amorphous precipitated silicon dioxide, which has oil absorption higher than approximately 90 cm3/100 g Einlehner hardness less than 5 mg loss per 100000 revolutions; from approximately 7 to approximately 9% of finely disperse silicon dioxide-based thickening agent, wherein low-abrasive silicon dioxide and finely disperse silicon dioxide-based thickening agent are in ratio from 1.5 to 1 to 1:1.5; and ii) particles, suspended in said gel, selected from granules, capsules and film fragments. Composition mainly does not contain silicon dioxide, possessing high cleaning ability. Gel is mainly transparent and has measured dullness lower than 200.
EFFECT: combination of said low-abrasive silicon dioxide and finely-disperse silicon dioxide-based thickening agent in given quantities makes it possible to obtain transparent gel, possessing acceptable cleaning properties.
