FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the machine building, in particular to the friction cover strips of the brake pads. The friction cover strip is intended for installation on the brake pad. The brake pad contains a base and a friction material. The base and friction material create a cavity upon their interfacing. The base contains a fixing base, engaging interface at distance from the lock base in direction parallel to the first plane, and contraction. On the lock base the friction material is secured. Contraction is located parallel to the first plane and creates resilient lamella between the lock base and engaging interface to ensure the lock base with possibility of movement and rotation in all directions. The brake pad consists of one or several parts, at that each part contains base and friction cover string.
EFFECT: removal of premature and non-uniform wear out of the friction materials during braking, and exclusion of significant stresses in friction materials and in elements of their securing to base.
