SUBSTANCE: disc brake (100) for a utility vehicle with a surrounding brake disc (2), preferably made in the form of a movable disc brake (1) located in fixed support (3) of the brake mechanism, and with a clamping device for clamping the brake; with two brake pads (100, 200), respectively, having braking pad holder (110, 210) and strap (120, 220) fixed thereon, respectively, inserted into niche (11, 12) of braking gear support pad (3), and support disk brake has central hole (1d) above brake disc (2). Clamping bracket (250) fixes radially only brake pad (100, 200) on reaction side in its niche (11, 12) of strap in brake mechanism support, wherein clamping bracket (250) is retained by its end remote from brake pad (200) end in support (1) of disc brake, on clamping side brake pad (100) is fixed by means of geometric closure radially in support of brake mechanism in its niche lining and has strap spring (130) fixed on brake pad (100) on clamp side, and has ends (133, 134) resting spring-loaded on horn ledges (134, 14) of brake mechanism brake caliper support.
EFFECT: such disc brake improvement enables to achieve good braking characteristics.
