FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering and can be used for determining place of unauthorised connection of load to homogeneous power transmission line. Along the line wires electric transmission, made of common material, currents and voltages of industrial frequency are distributed throughout its length at non-linear laws. Load connection unknown power to three-wire line electric transmission consisting of two linear wires made from a standard material and one linear wire made of superconducting material, is determined by measuring active power illegally connected load at the end of the linear wire made of superconducting material. Active power measured illegally connected load is determined by length from the end of power transmission line to the point of load connection. Data on voltages, currents and active power in power transmission line is obtained through interfaces or sensors made in the form of voltage and current transformers or in form of voltage dividers and alternating current shunts. As a result of processing data in a processor is the value of the length of section of power transmission line to the point, where the load is connected.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of efficiency of determining point of illegally load connection to the power transmission line.
