FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering and energy converters based on materials with piezoelectric properties. Resonant piezoelectric current generator includes placed in vacuum volume of stator with piezoelectric elements fixed on it with metal plates and rotor with mating metal plates, selection of ratio between number of metal plates on stator and rotor and rotation frequency of latter. As rotor turns, leading to periodic overlapping plates of stator and rotor, stator piezoelectric perform forced vibrations caused by Casimir effect between metal plates of stator and rotor, occurring at resonant frequency of piezoelectric elements.

EFFECT: technical result consists in simplifying design through use of standard materials, components and parts.
