SUBSTANCE: invention relates to power engineering. Cooling circuit for a multi-step steam turbine, comprising a drum rotor with blades, installed in tangential covering slots of a slot lock for at least one step, comprising an external cooling steam source, a drum rotor. Besides, in ledges of the drum rotor, between steps from blades with the tangential inlet and slot lock there are axial covering slots of the slot lock, designed for installation of axial inserts. Axial inserts may have and radial cooling channels providing for the possibility of passage of colder external steam designed for cooling of the drum rotor. Also a multi-stage steam turbine is presented with the steam cooling circuit and an axial insert.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to provide for efficient cooling of drum rotor steps.
