FIELD: ceramic industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for production of large-sized complex-shaped articles from composite materials or ceramics. Device for forming ceramic articles, containing matrix with working zone, core, assemblies for their mutual mounting, is equipped with thermal electric heaters arranged in matrix and horizontally and parallel to each other with even pitch gas feed channels, supplying laser light guide connected to working zone of matrix by means of working of light guide. Supply and working light guides are connected to each other coaxially using optical connector, and unit of mutual mounting matrix and core is made in form of equal-angle conical connection. After filling of working zone between female die and core mix of powders is required pressure of working gases and fed high-temperature laser pulse, produces high-temperature synthesis. Apparatus enables to make shell double curvature of carbide, oxide and nitride ceramics.
EFFECT: device has a good technological capabilities for making articles by self-propagating high-temperature synthesis.
