FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, particularly to devices for casting in contact with molten metal. Cast element comprises metal housing (2) and section (9) of surface, which during casting is exposed to molten metal. Housing on portion of surface in contact with melt equipped with molten metal-resistant corrosion-resistant coating (3) formed using microparticles and/or nanoparticles of one or more substances from a group comprising borides, nitrides and carbides of transition metals and alloys thereof, as well as boron, silicon and Al2O3. Microparticles and/or nanoparticles have size ranging from 50 nm to 50 mcm.
EFFECT: invention can be used for casting hoppers and other components of machines for pressure casting of aluminium.
