SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the use of coatings of SiO2 nanoparticles in water-supplying cooling systems for prevention of abrasive corrosion and depositions, as well as to a method for the production of such a coating.

EFFECT: creation of coatings of water-supplying cooling systems, in particular, pipes for a refrigerant, which provide a longer service life, i.e., better protection from abrasive corrosion, as well as from depositions, while coating should not, in particular, excessively deteriorate heat conductivity of coated pipe walls.
