SUBSTANCE: claimed pump incorporates the fixed diffuser with the bore. Thrust bearing with curved inner area is fitted in the diffuser bore. Thrust journal is tightly fitted inside the thrust bearing inner cavity. Thrust journal is fixed by the key on the shaft to transfer the force from the pump spinning impeller to the diffuser via said thrust bearing.
EFFECT: thrust bearing curved surface transfers both axial and radial forces to rule out the use of several thrust bearings, operation at high loads.
