FIELD: manufacturing technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to temper-indicating plastic closures and tamper-evident packaging. Plastic closure cap includes an annular belt with endless tamperproof ring. Tamperproof ring extends substantially at an angle upwardly and inwardly of closure ring in ready position of tamperproof ring for engaging relatively enlarged annular locking ring of mating container. Tamperproof ring comprises a plurality of circumferentially spaced protrusions protruding from outer surface of ring, and a plurality of circumferentially spaced tabs extending from inner surface of ring and spaced from distal edge of ring. Tabs enhance interaction of tamperproof ring with locking ring of container. Protrusions, which preferably contain relatively thick zones or shoulders, serve to limit lateral movement of tamperproof collar relative to container by engaging at least one of mating flange with a capacity below locking ring of container.

EFFECT: closure cap made according to invention provides more obstacles invisible opening.
