FIELD: agricultural engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agricultural engineering. Round baler comprises a roll compaction chamber surrounded by a pressing device in form of one or several pressing belts, directly adjoining each other with their adjacent edges. Pressing device adjoins drive roll and rolls freely rotating together with it, and is directed on sides by lateral guides in an axial direction of at least one of rolls. Lateral guides relative to direction of movement of pressing device, carried out in roll forming mode, are installed directly before drive roll on both sides of pressing device. Lateral guides consist of, rotating in plane of pressing device, pulleys with grooves to receive pressing device.
EFFECT: design of round baler prevents lateral displacement of pressing device in form of pressing belts.
