FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: in a motor with permanent magnets with the field reduction the rotor has a fixed iron core and movable segments of the iron core. When the movable segments of the iron core are in the first position such as in contact with the fixed iron core the field intensity is high. When the movable segments of the iron core are in the second position, where the movable segments are at a distance from the fixed iron core the field intensity is low. As a result there is the possibility of the motor use for applications, where a wide range of rotation speed is necessary. The invention is used both in motors with DC magnets, and in generators. Besides, the stator ring has a fixed area, and at least one moved stator segment.
EFFECT: assurance of the high ratio of rotation speeds at permanent power.
