SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering, specifically to unipolar type electrical machines. Motor generator stator comprises a plurality of rings disposed around a central axis; armature coil linked with stator ring grooves; one or more field coils, each of which surrounds a central axis; motor-generator rotor, a stator surrounding rotor and comprising a plurality of segments, each of which is adapted to closure of magnetic circuit between first and second grooved rings stator and separated from other segments of nonmagnetic material of rotor; cylindrical composite rotor surrounding n-pole stator defining n stator channels and a group of armature coils connected with each stator channel, each group of armature coils is adapted to bidirectional exchange of electric power from corresponding converter AC into DC in an n-channel power unit.
EFFECT: technical result is improved functionality of unipolar machines and higher efficiency thereof.
