FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wind power engineering. Wind-driven power plant includes running track in the form of circular rail track upon which carriages are installed connected by links with drive shaft of electric current generator. On each carriage, receiving device for wind flow kinetic energy is fixed. Each receiving device for wind flow kinetic energy is made in form of confuser, on top of which, one above another, lower and upper wing flaps are fixed, turnable in vertical planes and spring-loaded, with U-shaped section and open from the front. On sides of confuser in bearings there are vertical shafts with impellers and drums. Each drum is connected by cable with top flap. At tension of ropes with drums, upper flap covers with vertical flanges lateral sides of the lower flap, and the latter, covers confuser. Under action of springs flaps in lifted position form the upper and lower chambers with intake windows. At the output window of confuser there is shaft with impeller and gate connected via spring with confuser wall. Shutter is convex in the outer side of outlet confuser window.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at provision of constant rotation rate of electric generator shaft, and stopping operation in case of gusty wind.
