FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for generating electricity from wind. Wind power plant contains a frame with a ring plate fixed thereon with a treadmill in the form of an annular rail track, trolleys on rollers connected to the drive shaft of an electric current generator mounted thereon. Trolleys are equipped with a device for receiving kinetic wind energy with horizontally arranged semi-cylindrical blades, made in the form of two vertical frames, installed parallel to each other and perpendicular to the movement of trolleys, and the semi-cylindrical blades are staggered on the framework in staggered order and are closed from the ends with covers. Hub with a brake drum is fastened on the shaft, which covers the brake band, made in the form of two half-rings fixed on one side to the ring plate, and their free ends are connected to the lower leash and to the upper arms of the two shoulders, connected by a spring to an annular plate and fixed on an axis equipped with blades, while the shoulders of the double arm are made of different lengths.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at increasing the generation of electric energy when a wind power plant is operating at low wind speeds, as well as protection against accidental breakdowns at high speed and gusts of wind.
