FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to technology of extracting rare-earth elements from natural phosphorus-containing concentrates. Monazite concentrate is processed, heated with sulphuric acid with production of cake containing sulphates of rare-earth elements. Then one performs washing of cake in two stages, at first stage of treatment is carried out mother solution after separating precipitate of rare-earth elements obtained from aqueous solution with second stage washing. At first stage washing is carried out in countercurrent mode at T:G=1:2÷3 at second stage is washed with water at temperature of 5-20°C at T:G=1:6÷8.
EFFECT: technical result consists in increase of content of REE in collective rare-earth concentrate, ensuring high degree of purification from thorium, phosphorus compounds, reducing consumption of reagents.
