FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to sleeve piercing at rotary piercer. High accuracy of geometrical parameters of sleeves, reduction of their wall thickness variation is ensured by simultaneous blank entry into contact with both rolls at the moment of the primary capture by turning of one of the disk mill rolls at feed angle larger than feed angle of another roll. Value of feed angle is specified by mathematical relationship.
EFFECT: high accuracy of geometrical parameters of sleeves, reduction of wall thickness variation.
