METHOD OF OIL FIELD DEVELOPMENT WITH REGARD TO RESTORATION OF FORMATION BACKGROUND TEMPERATURE Russian patent published in 2016 - IPC E21B43/20

Abstract RU 2579029 C1

FIELD: oil production.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of oil production, namely, a method of oil field development with due account for restoration of the formation temperature background. Method presupposes selection of at least one pair of wells, consisting of related injection and production wells. Using oil interference testing method, determine efficiency of fluid medium pumping into the injection well in order to achieve a predetermined value of bottom hole pressure (BHM) in the production well. Determine the time of the formation temperature background restoration in the wellbore area of the injection well at predetermined periods of the injection well stopping. During the injection well stop, record the time necessary to restore the temperature background of the formation near the injection well area at least for 2 °C. Specified time of formation temperature background restoration near the injection well is accepted as the time of temperature background restoration for the whole formation. Define the time during which bottom hole pressure in the production well drops below the set value when you stop pumping fluid into the injection well. Based on the data obtained, select the time of the injection well operation with a capacity of fluid pumping required to achieve the desired bottom hole pressure in the production well. Based on the results of the performed studies, define the formation conductivity using the analytical expression. Productivity of fluid pumping into the injection well, necessary to achieve a desired bottom hole pressure in the production well is also determined by the analytical expression.

EFFECT: technical result consists in increase of development efficiency due to optimisation of the injection well operation, reduction of energy and labor costs associated with pumping of fluid into the injection well.
