OPERATION METHOD OF OIL POOL BY USING NONSTATIONARY WATERFLOOD Russian patent published in 2017 - IPC E21B43/20

Abstract RU 2614834 C1

FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: according to the method working agent is injected to the oil pool through a group of pressure wells in cyclic mode. Continuous oil extraction is carried out by group of producing wells. The work cycle of the group of pressure wells is determined in advance. It includes operation time of the group of pressure wells and the downtime of this group. The response time of each producing well to the injection of working agent through the pressure well is determined for each pressure well. The arithmetic mean value of the response times of each producing well to the injection through each pressure well is set as the work time of the group of pressure wells. Pressure drop time is determined for each pressure well as the time when the pressure in the well drops to 65-75% of the difference between the pressure reached during injection of the working agent and the initial static pressure in the pressure well, after stopping injection of working agent. The minimum drop time pressure among pressure wells is set as a downtime of the group of pressure wells. The rate of working agent injection in the work period is taken as constant for each pressure well.

EFFECT: improved efficiency of the oil pool operation, increased oil recovery and producing well flow rate.
