One of the methods (300) includes receipt (302) by a computing device of signals from current transformer installed around excitation cable connected to the generator collecting unit; detection (304) by the above computing device of spark occurrence in the above collecting unit at least partially based on signals received from the above current transformer; generation (306) of indication specifying spark occurrence in the above generator collecting unit if the above computing device detected spark in the above generator collecting unit; and formation (308) of ring fire warning at least partially based on the indication specifying spark occurrence in the above generator collecting unit.
