SUBSTANCE: stereoscopic image device includes a polarisation beam splitter for reflecting or transmitting incident light depending on polarised light components on a screen. The device comprises a mirror for reflecting the light reflected from the beam splitter onto the screen. The device further includes polarisation modulators. The beam splitter is in the form of two plates joined to each other. The centre of the two plates is located on the path of the incident light.
EFFECT: high quality of the spectroscopic image and eliminating the distortion of two images on the screen.
