FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to geophysics and can be used for processing data of seismic survey. Disclosed is a method for determination of Q-factor of layer using attribute amplitude spectrum of descending wave data of vertical seismic profiling in geophysical survey data processing technology. According to present method, first, use of frequency-wave-number method for implementation of wave field separation for initial data vertical seismic profiling (VSP) to obtain a descending wave. Method includes selecting descending sub-wave and control sub-wave for implementation of Fourier transformation to obtain an amplitude spectrum. Method includes performing polynomial approximation with respect to amplitude spectrum in order to obtain equivalent Q-factor, and then ratio between equivalent Q-factor and Q-factor layer for implementation of access to obtain Q-factor layer. Disclosed method is characterised by ability to resist random noise and elimination of difference between excited sub-waves.
EFFECT: high accuracy of obtained data.
